tacet
Why?
This installation was in support of musicians who live in countries where making music is restricted or completely forbidden. ‘tacet’ is a musical term which is used to indicate an instrument or voice should remain silent for a section of a piece.
“You may have been silenced, but we will make music for you, until the day when we can do so together.”
How?
I spray painted some CDs and put on a strip of grey tape to redact the titles.
When?
September 2021
