Mug Tree
Why?
There are two possible explanations.
The first is that this is all about recycling and repurposing. A tree that is no longer alive and mugs that are surplus to requirements. These two elements have been brought together to make an interesting work of art.
The second is that (wife) Judy, who can be seen in the photo, suggested I put mugs on the tree to make it look more interesting. This I did and voilà, a work of art.
How?
I found 14 mugs which we were not using. These were tied to the tree. During the several weeks that MugTree was displayed, not only were no mugs taken, but one of our lovely neighbours, Vivienne, went out of her way to buy me a mug which I used to replace one of the originals.
